Residents, workers and business-owners in Collingwood and Fitzroy are joining the Thanks for 30 movement in the lead up to the speed limit trial later this year to champion safer, more liveable streets.

Three members of the community are standing up for the positive benefits of 30km/h for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers, and they expect many more people to join the Thanks for 30 movement.

Ambassadors Samuel Luck, Primary School Principal at Collingwood College, Adam Ferrante, parent, long-time resident and director of The Rose Street Markets, and Jeremy Wortsman of The Jacky Winter Group each have unique and strong reasons to support the reduced speed limit. Read about their stories and why 30km/h makes sense to them on our Ambassador page.

Representing many different interests of the community from children and families to small business and residents, the ambassadors believe that positive change starts with individuals like them.

Anyone can download a support poster, request support merchandise or sign up to the newsletter to stay up to date. If you would like to show your support for 30km/h or find out how else you can support, you can register your interest on the Get Involved page.
