Thanks for 30 trial begins

We have now started introducing the trial 30km/h speed limit.

Over the next two weeks, we will be putting up speed limit signs in streets where the trial is taking place.

Once the signs are implemented, the 30km/h speed limit will come into effect. It’s important that drivers look out for the signs as they begin to go up.

We are looking forward to testing the 30km/h speed limit as a new approach to achieving safer speeds in our community.

Reducing speeds in our streets creates livelier, safer and healthier streets that we can all enjoy, whether we are walking, driving or riding.
